I talked to the Texas Tree Foundation and here is what they said about
volunteer options:

1. They have volunteer opportunities nearly every weekend.
2. Most are held at Richland College in Richardson, a few others at
Hamilton Park
3. Time is 8:00 to 12:00, and can be "come and go", so there is no 4
hour commitment
4. Types of projects are light and include transplanting, weeding,
pruning, etc.
5. They provide work gloves and water, light snack.
6. If it rains, they generally cancel the work
7
All we need to do is identify a weekend and let them know how many we
plan to have in attendance.
