Regional ACE Event at Wild Waves and Enchanted Village
Save the date! Come to Wild Waves and Enchanted Village in Federal Way,
Washington on Saturday, August 30 for an American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE)
regional event for our region's members.
Exact plans are being worked out and I expect to send more information
within the next week or so. The following plans are tentative:
· Exclusive ride time (ERT) on Timberhawk, Ride of Prey!
· Picnic lunch to be provided
· Event (and ERT) to begin at 9:00 A.M.
· Park opens to general public at 10:00 A.M. Enjoy the park until
closing at 8:00 P.M.
· Cost: Less than $15 per person (plus parking)
· Make sure you have a valid ACE membership card (renew today if
your membership has expired or is about to expire!)
To help with planning, I need to know approximately how many people will be
attending. Please send me an informal RSVP by Friday, August 8, to let me
know if you think you will be attending this event, including the total
number in your group (including guests) you expect to bring. Note that
this reply does not commit you to attend, nor are you prohibited from
coming if you miss the deadline! I just need to gauge how many to plan
for. I'll send a more detailed invitation with event registration
requirements by mid-August.
If you haven't ridden Timberhawk yet, this promises to be a very fun event
(you already know that if you have ridden it!). Timberhawk is an extremely
fun woodie that you'll want to ride over and over!
