Think the roller coaster season is over for the year? Well think again!
Wild Waves and Enchanted Village will be open in December for "Holiday with
Lights" and I'm trying to plan a regional event for us! Celebrate the
season with colorful lights, beautiful holiday carols, pictures with Santa
and much, much more!
Plans are very tentative at the moment. Costs are likely to be similar to
what we paid for our August 30 regional event: under $15 per person. The
schedule for this event would likely consist of the following:
4:30PM

5:00PM
Check-in and registration at the main entrance
5:00PM
?
6:00PM
ERT on Timberhawk: Ride of Prey
6:00PM
?
8:00PM
Picnic Dinner
6:00PM
?
10:00PM
Park open to general public
You should note that the ERT would be a night-time session. It gets dark
very early this time of year! Weatherwise, it's not likely we'd have snow,
but light rainfall is certainly possible (sustained heavy rainfall isn't
that common). The park will make every effort to run the coaster, even if
we have less-than-ideal weather conditions.
The event would be on a Saturday evening. Before I reserve the date, I'd
like to do a quick poll to see your interest in attending this event in
December. Please send me a brief e-mail with your answers to the following
questions:
1. How interested are you in attending a Regional ACE event in December?
A. Sounds good, but I don't think I could attend an event in
December.
B. Sounds great! Any Saturday in December is good with me!
C. Sounds great, but I could only attend before Christmas (e.g.,
December 20)
D. Sounds great, but I could only attend after Christmas (e.g.,
December 27)
2. If you were to come, how many would likely come with you (including
yourself)?
3. Would you be interested in participating in a grab-bag gift exchange?
