Hi everyone,
It is with some sadness that I announce that I have resigned as
ACE rep. for region 16. I have been considering this for some
time now, but finally made it official within the last month. Harry
has accepted my resignation.
I will continue to be as active as possible in ACE and regional
activities, but other interests and obligations have taken too much
time for me to properly fulfill my ACE duties.
I have enjoyed being your rep, for oh these last 13-14 years,
(I am not really sure just how long) - I first took on the position
as rep. for Iowa, in the year the Dragon at Adventureland
opened, and continued on as region 16 rep. when the reorgan-
ization took place.
Thanks so much to all who have helped with pictures, news,
and events, especially from the northern areas where I do not
have ready access to the media.
Harry will be looking for a replacement, and I have a couple
of you in mind, but I will contact you - if Harry has not already
- personally. I know there is someone who will be able to
take on the job with new enthusiasm - and I will be here to
assist in the transition. (As well as going forward - when I can)
A couple of side notes: I am going to move this email list to
Yahoo groups, as it is somewhat more flexible and has facil-
ities to post photos, links, calendar events, etc. Also - the next
time you see me, you may not recognize me - my hair, beard:
both gone! - at least for the time being. Maybe I'll post a
photo when I get the list moved.
