Hello,
Here is the schedule for the 2003 American Lindy Hop Championships. ALHC
will be held from Oct. 23, 2003 to Oct. 26, 2003 at the Sheraton
Stmaford Hotel.
For those of you interested in staying at the hotel please be aware that
last year the hotel sold out more than a week before the event. So don't
be left at a hotel 2 miles away.
Casey MacGill and the Spirits of Rhythm will play on Saturday night.

TEACHER BIOS
Kenneth and Helena Norbelie are the 1997 World Lindy Hop Champions. They
are world renown teachers and coaches based in Sweden.
Ryan Francois and Jenny Thomas were one of the United Kingdoms top
couples before moving to the US to perform in the Broadway musical
Swing!. Now based in Los Angeles the travel the world teaching workshops
and at camps as well as coaching competitive couples.
Erik Robison and Sylvia Skylar are the originators of the Hollywood
Style of Lindy. They are the ALHC 1998 American Showcase champions.
Performers, too, they have appeared in a number of movies and on
Broadway in the musical Swing!.
Jennifer Salvadori and Justin Zillman are based in Orange County,
California. They are known for their speed and connection. As dance
historians they teach the history through movement. Their classes are
not to be missed.
Sylvia Sykes and Jason Christodoulou struck up a partnership 3 years
ago. While maintaining their own dance identities they have forged a
partnership that had created a Smooth/Not Smooth/Contemporary style of
Lindy.
Kevin St. Laurent and Carla Heiney are two-time ALHC American Showcase
champions. They are popular workshop teachers worldwide.
David Graybill is a favorite partner of any Jack and Jill contestant
because of his inventiveness, connection and sense of style. He has
placed in many competitions a crossed the country.
Angie Whitworth and Roddy Caravella are mainstays of the Whiteys Lindy
Hoppers style. They too have placed in many competitions around the
country. They are known for the fun energetic way they teach their
classes.
Joel and Allison Plys are based in San Diego California. Finalists at
ALHC in last years American Showcase Division they also placed in the
Fast Dance Division. They offer a class they develop with Jason and
Sylvia.
Bill Borgida is a well-known workshop teacher who travels the world
spreading his philosophy on partnering, connection and musicality.
