Swedish Defence Attach=E9 in MoD
Today, the defence attach=E9 of Sweden to Georgia, Col. Par Blid, paid a vi=
sit to the MoD [Ministry of Defence] to hold consultations over the Bilater=
al Cooperation Plan, which had been elaborated between the Ministries of De=
fence of Georgia and Sweden.
Deputy Defence Minister Nikoloz Vashakidze received the Swedish official in=
the MoD. Under the visit's agenda the Swedish attach=E9 also met with the =
head of the International Relations and Euro-Atlantic Integration Departmen=
t, Marika Laliashvili, and the Deputy Commander of Training and Military Ed=
ucation, LTC Zaza Kekelia.
The sides focused on future cooperation prospects between the MoDs of the t=
wo countries and dealt with the security system existing at the present tim=
e in Georgia.
The defence official from Sweden will leave Georgia on November 6. =20
