NATO delegation discusses future replacement of Transdniestrian peacekeepers
TIRASPOL: The NATO Parliamentary Assembly favors the eventual replacement of the peacekeeping force in Transdniestria with civilian observers, Assembly delegation head Mark Angel told the media in Tiraspol on Thursday.
Angel had met with deputy foreign minister of the unrecognized republic, Alexander Malyarchuk.

A report will be prepared for the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
The delegation met with Moldovan and Transdniestrian officials, head of the OSCE Moldovan mission Philip Remler and the Transdniestrian,
Moldovan and Russian co-chairmen of the Joint Control Commission (JCC).
