FWIW, I never received any notification, so either my ISP or my spam filter
must have rejected it, or it was not sent to everyone on the list.
The Blog looks promising - you've got my vote Jim.

Well you anticipated a change in this list by a couple of weeks - I will
send more official information soon - but the list has seen a much lower
level of traffic then it has in the past - and I have been investigating
ways that it could be of higher utility to the members and the field. The
result will be the conversion of the listserve to a Blog. We have started
a
site which we are still working on - so it is not officially unveiled or
"open for business" but if you go to http://av-archive.blogspot.com/
You can see what we are thinking. I think the time has come to leave
