In your journal:
Make a list of all the ways you are needed. Who are the people who
depend on you? What do they depend on you for? Why are you the one who
is best suited for the job?
In your journal:
What does being treated with respect mean to you? In what ways would
others go about treating you with respect? Why should people treat you
with respect even if they don’t agree with you or like you? Now
consider the ways you treat others with respect. In what ways do you
show your respect? Why should you treat others with respect even if you
don’t agree with or like them? As you go about your week, notice and
maybe even thank others who treat you with respect. Notice the ways you
treat each person you meet with respect. Each night write down how it
felt to be treated with respect and how it felt to treat others with
respect.
