FOOD DRIVE
The annual Boy Scouts of America food drive will kick off on Saturday
November 6th. Accokeek Troop 245 will pass out food bags to the local
neighborhoods. On Saturday November 13th, we will collect them. Of all the
projects and events we do throughoutr the year, this one has the greatest
impact on our community. All the food we collect goes to needy families in
Accokeek. This year, in conjunction with our new sponsor, the First Baptist
Church of Accokeek, we hope to have a much greater impact. The number of
boys in the troop, their parents, and adult leaders combined can cover only
a fraction of the Accokeek community. We need the support of the entire
community this year. Tell your friends, tell your neighbors. Just one can of
food can go a long way if everyone pitches in.

For more information about the troop or upcoming events, see our website
http://www.accokeek245.org.
