KDO: Exploring National Zoo
Learn about animals and their habitats during this fun trip to the
National Zoo. Also, get a glimpse of the new panda cub, Tai Shan.
This program is open to Prince George's County residents only.
Children must be 5 years of age by trip date. Fee increases to $35
within 7 days of program. Lunch will be provided.

KDO: Kevin Reese's A Perfect Balance
Inspired by Alexander Calder, inventor of the mobile, this one-man
play celebrates the creative process. Follow young Sandy as he
experiments with shape, color, painting, sculpture, and movement, and
creates a spectacular 17-foot mobile that suspends over the audience!
All ages welcome.

Frank Fishburne: Found Metal Sculptures
Frank Fishburne recycles found metal objects, rusty farm equipment
parts, engine parts, various old tools, and a host of other metal
resources to create unique, whimsical and always humorous works of
art. His sculptures transform and bring a new life to discarded
artifacts of a bygone era.

Step Afrika!
Step Afrika! presents an explosive, dynamic display of a high-energy
art form called stepping, a unique dance style whose roots lie in the
African-American fraternity and sorority systems. Combining chants,
songs, footsteps and claps, Step Afrika! artists incorporate African
traditions (demonstrated through a lively South African gumboot
dance) into this highly percussive and rhythmic American dance style.
