Wealtha Aldridge/Aldrich?

Hello Remington cousins;
I am confused about two different versions of Wealtha's last name. On
your website you list her name as Aldridge. But, according to the
Trumbull Cnty Genealogical Society, the Trum City Marriage Record Index
1800-1900 shows her as Aldrich. Is that an error in recordkeeping,
(which I have found more than once)? Do you know of any other
documentation that would show her correct last name? I am interested
in trying to trace her genealogy as well, and it would be helpful if I
knew the correct spelling. Does anyone have the names of her parents?
I am very pleased to have discovered this website. When I first saw it
in a posting, I didn't see how Scuttlebutt had anything to do with
genealogy. But having that pioneer spirit, I sailed on in to check it
out. You do a great job.
