No bushes were removed or "pulled". Bushes were trimmed in order to
gain access to two large boulders (approximately 4-5 feet in diameter)
that were blocking the brook and diverting water over the banks and
causing significant erosion.

Hello I just got a disturbing Email advising me that Woburn DPW has
someone
out at Horn Pond this morning pulling out a large area of bushes. These
types
of growth areas are largely used by birds for protection and nesting.
Has a
habitat study been done? Will these bushes be replaced or did someone
just
decide that they were not attractive enough and must be removed???!!
