Request for Raptor Photos  Friends of Fresh Pond Res.
 Feb 04, 2008 08:08 PST

Hi All,

Does anyone have photos of local raptors that you are
willing to share for an educational program?

In a couple of weeks, the Friends of Fresh Pond
Reservation (FFPR) will be offering an introductory
program about raptors that might be seen at Fresh
Pond. (The announcement is included below). Our
member Tom Murray has given us permission to use any
of his excellent raptor photos, but we are missing
some key views, such as a kestrel in flight, a sitting
peregrine, a broad-winged hawk perched and in flight,
and a merlin in flight.

We will be using the photos in a PowerPoint
presentation, and therefore do not need them to be
very high quality. We will mark all photos with the
photographer’s name, and will verbally thank any
contributors in our introductory comments. We will use
the photos only in our educational programs, and not
on our website or in any of our printed materials.

Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation is run by volunteers
and provides free educational programs for the public
on a variety of topics ranging from the natural and
social history of Fresh Pond to water purification.
This is our first program on raptors.

If you have any photos that you would be willing to
let us use, please contact us at
friendsof-@yahoo.com .

Thank you so much!

Elizabeth Wylde, Janet Kovner, Nancy Guppy, and Herb
Pearce
(Presenters for Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation)
