The Miss Plastic contest in Hungary features patients of leading
cosmetic surgeons showing off everything from boob jobs and liposuction
to hair transplants. The surgeons can win prizes from the judges for
their handi-work. Organizers claim the event allows the contestants,
aged from 19 to 38, to celebrate the beautiful bodies they helped to
create.

THE TALLEST DOG ?
Caryn Weber believes her dog Boomer is the tallest dog in the world and
she's submitting his stats to Guiness. Boomer stands 3ft tall at the
shoulders but measures a huge 7ft from nose to tail. He can stare into a
car window eye-to-eye with the driver. The three-year-old Landseer
Newfoundland, keeps all four paws on the floor when he drinks from the
kitchen sink.
NAKED VISITOR
Police in Slidell, LA. are looking for a naked man they say showered
with a garden hose, then broke into the house while the owner was away,
cooked himself a meal, had a few drinks then took a shower inside the
home, before wrapping himself in a sheet and leaving. He didn't take
anything else. There were no witnesses, but we know how all this
happened because of a video surveillance system in the home that
captured it all. His very clear picture is on the front page of the
Times-Picayune. I think he'll get caught.

Lisa Marie Garbo, a 5ft 7in, 19st 4lbs self-proclaimed 'size-acceptance
activist', opened Club Bounce in Long Beach five years ago. It's a club
for larger than life ladies and business is booming. So much so that she
has recently opened another in Phoenix and has plans for a third in
Dallas. The Club Bounce, logo: "Where Size And Style Meet." Her aim was
to provide a place where women could go and have their size accepted and
celebrated.

GPS ARREST
Garry Lee Damon is being held on suspicion of bank robbery in Santa
Clar, CA. His parole officer spotted him on a bank surveillance photo
that was broadcast. So he checked the high-tech GPS tracker he'd been
wearing as a condition of his release from prison. Sure enough they were
able to rack that he'd been at the bank at the time of the robbery.
