SIGN OF THE TIMES
56 year old Evelyn Border and and her 35-year-old daughter Tina
Griekspoor admit they stole a gift card from a 9 year old girl. Instead
of jail time they spent 4 1/2 hours Tuesday standin outside a courthouse
in Bedford, PA. holding signs that said "I stole from a 9-year-old girl
on her birthday! Don't steal or this could happen to you!" It was part
of a plea deal to avoid jail time. The women swiped a gift card that the
girl set on a shelf while a Walmart employee helped her.
