Join Hodari Abdul-Ali, Host of "Freedom Sounds", tomorrow morning, November 4, 2009 on WPFW, 89.3 FM in Washington, DC for a discussion on two important topics of the day. The program can also be heard live on line at www.wpfw.org.
At 7:00 am, Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African Peoples Socialist Party, will speak about the "Black is Back" Coalition rally, scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Malcolm X Park in Washington, DC. (www.blackisbackcoalition.org). The rally represents a growing sentiment within the African-American community to speak out on issues of concern that are still being marginalized by the new administration.
At 7:30 am, Jihad Abdul-Mumit and Khalid Abdus-Samad, activists with the Muslim Alliance in North America (www.mana-net.org), will discuss the recent assassination of Imam Luqman Abdullah in Detroit. Calls are growing for an independent investigation of the FBI assault against this respected Islamic leader.
