The next meeting of Colorado Women In Technology will be June 28 at The
Great Northern Tavern Restaurant in Denver.
Elizabeth Mistretta of Raytheon will present:
Lessons From The Trail
"Lessons from the Trail" is a collection of lessons learned while mountain
biking, road riding, rock climbing, hiking, and snow shoeing. For each
lesson learned while riding or hiking, Elizabeth explains how the lesson
applies to your career development or job search. Lessons include topics
such as experience, leadership, commitment, and what to do when you wreck.
Elizabeth Mistretta works as the Technical Editor for Raytheon's Aurora
campus. She has a Master's of Science in Technical Communications and a
Bachelor's of Arts in English and Spanish. Elizabeth also volunteers with
the Turn About Program in Denver, writing resumes for ex-offenders
returning to the workplace. In her spare time, Elizabeth is an avid cyclist
and enjoys hiking, camping, and yoga as well.
Meeting agenda:
6:30 - 7:30 Check-in and Networking, with hors d'oeuvres, and drinks.
7:30 - 8:30 Presentation
