THE ELECTION IS UPON US

By Herb Evans

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that there is division
among the conservative wing of Christendom. It boils down to two camps of
conservative Christians with two different solutions to two less than
desirable candidates. The camps are divided as follows:

1. Defeat Bush at any cost under the guise of a 3rd party with another
undesirable candidate who will lose.

2. Defeat Kerry at any cost by ignoring the 3rd party presidential
candidate and voting for Bush.

REASONING:

1. The one camp can be identified primarily by its Bush bashing, blaming
him for everything that is wrong in America, sometimes with facts,
sometimes with Michael Moore Propaganda, and often with just pontificated
and unsubstantiated propaganda. So, we feel free to predict that Peroutka,
if elected will bring back the draft, disenfranchise blacks, take the
elderly's social security, and allow terrorism to triumph and kill us.

Since, the primary purpose of government is to protect its citizenry not to
impose its values or religion on its citizenry, for that would change from
election to election, I am satisfied with Bush's war on terrorism, keeping
it over there away from our shores. Significant was the edited Bin Laden
tape that removed Ben Ladin's statement that Bush had "decimated" Al Qaeda
(for lack of the actual word that I can't remember).

2. The other can be identified with Kerry bashing, blaming him for
everything that will surely go wrong in America, if he is elected.

Both major candidates have their records that may be looked at, while
Peroutka has no record at all to criticize, because he has no record at all.

What is obvious is that either Bush or Kerry will be elected. This is our
ultimate practical choice. Defeat Bush or defeat Kerry. Which do you think
is the right thing to do, regardless of all the wonderful platitudes that
have been expressed by the 3rd party candidate, who has no record at all.
Now, you can push the motto, "Don't vote for the lesser of 2
evils!", because I am not going to do that. I am trying to prevent the
worse of two evils from getting elected, namely, Hanoi John. I am voting
for the most practical of 4 evils. If you want to vote for the best
candidate, send in a write in vote for Herb Evans, the best of 5 evils. ...

For the most part, the views that have been expressed, pro and con, were
sincerely held views, and I do not condemn most of them. Thank you all for
your views, except for those few triflers that just like to win, and may
the Lord's will be done.

May the Lord bless you all according to your blessibility.
