Hi Ayleen!
Just don't push.  The harder you push,the harder he'll push back.  He will try new things, when he is ready.  If you don't make a big deal out of it, he will realize that nobody is paying attention to his eating and he'll come around on his own.  And trust me, he will!
You can also try a variation of the theme -- maybe use the chicken tenders in a casserole with cheese and vegetables or something like that.  As long as he's energetic, I wouldn't worry.  I know it's hard not to, but every parent goes through this, and it doesn't last forever!Hugs,Lisa.
