Fellow Texan Steve Ponder asks off list if Corazón is still alive. It is, I'm sure, but those of us who've been involved have been a bit moribund.
Janice and I just got back from two weeks in China, where the AM and shortwave bands sounded like what we might expect when IBOC reigns on medium wave and BPL overrides SWBC.
But I did manage to do 60-minute, then 45-minute (couldn't find any 120 cassettes in China) airchecks on 48 FM stations in Shanghai, Beijing and Xi'an.
Amazing trip. The Western influence in dress, music and advertising (lots of English intermingled with Chinese among the billboards and neon) tells me something important about international relations.
But Chinese FM is off topic on the Corazón list, so I'll close here.
