How do I point to Google Calendar?

Hello. It's me again with the scheduling program issue. Sorry to be a
pain, but when I went to the user manual to get the instructions for
setting up Google calendar to be my scheduling program, I got just so
far. The user manual says:
Calendar: Go to Scripts menu and open Scriptmaker, choose 'GoTo
Scheduler' script and edit it to point to your scheduler with
applescript or some microsoft tools
I don't think I am familiar with the Microsoft equivalent of
applescript, nor do I know what exactly I am doing on a technical level.
What is it that this equivalent program going to do exactly. How does it
tell Cottage Med to point itself to Google calendar?
Do I just need to hire someone to teach me how to use this program? I am
normally very good at figuring out what I need to do to get something to
work, but that doesn't seem to be working for me now.
