I am sure that sandblasting the inside surface down to bare metal will remove all issues. That is a drastic solution though. I would look up the manufacturers websites, and see what they specify for interior treatments. I have seen one where they identify the insecticide they use on the floor planks. As for the paint, you could probably find that out too. If you remove the planks and pressure wash the interior paint, I am sure that will be sufficient. Perhaps a repaint will be needed, if you really want to be sure.
Call one of the manufacturers, tell them you are a buyer, and ask. Then simply buy one of theirs. The manufactureres are identified on the container. Hyundai in South Korea makes many of them, but there are European and North American suppliers as well.
