Kitchen Construction
Here you can see twenty-five workers pouring the concrete roof on the
new kitchen / dining area in Jacmel. It was all done by hand and finished
in one day.
Not only will this be a roof, it will also be the new floor to the second
level which will house the older boys and an apartment. The entire building
will hopefully be done before the end of the year.
New Site in Grand Goave
For the last year or so we have been helping care for 30 kids in the town of
Grand Goave, Haiti. Mission Of Hope, a mission led by Lex and Renee Edme
have been housing the children in their school and even in their own home
for a while.

We are excited to finally make this partnership official by buying a piece
of property in Grand Goave and building another children's home based on the
same pattern as our original site in Jacmel. Keep us in your prayers as we
go through the building process again and all the trials and hardships that
come along with that. One specific thing you can pray for is that we will
be able to find water. We have dug one well but it is uncertain if it will
supply the amount of water needed. Over the next couple of weeks we will
have people checking it out and giving us advice on how to proceed.
