Geoff.........Dude.......easy there boy.........
Just pointing out the odd similarity between airplanes and their owners.
Each seem to gain a couple of pounds a year........
Also that you must keep up with W&B as you add "stuff" to your
aircraft.........either by mathematical calculations, or by occasional
re-weighing.........
BTW.......what is "altirude"? (OK..........I can't type, or spell well
either, even spell check gets stumped with some of the words I come up
with!)
Oh yeah, density altitude is in feet, not degrees........(but who's
counting)

Oh...my...God...what a worse case scenario. With a density altirude of
more than 50 degrees he'd be in trouble. Did you guys tell him to lose
the weight or increase his life insurance? Geoff

Geoff.....
You know...AIRPLANES get heavier with age too! Its like this.......
let's keep a handheld radio on board, and lets put in new carpets, and
some sun visors, and lets keep some drinking water in the baggage
compartment, and lets put in some better and more avionics etc
etc........
A couple of the planes we weighed in the shop were a LOT heavier than
when they come from the factory!
We recently weighed an Ercoupe for a guy........Over the years they had
added metalized wings, two way radio and transponder, engine upgrade and
a few other things.........
Turned out that with full fuel, the "useful load" was 140 lbs!!! That
is for two people!!!
Another guy had a fancy exhaust system put onto his Pitts
S-1.........Made the plane over gross when he was in it (he was a big boy
too)
