Schwimmer Single Again
3 June 2004 (WENN)
Former Friends star David Schwimmer is single again - after splitting
from New York rock babe Gina Lee. Schwimmer, 37, started dating singer
and former model Lee, 26, in January after ending his long-term
relationship with Carla Alapont at Christmas. According to friends of
the stunning pop star, Lee dumped Schwimmer last week, claiming she had
little in common with the Hollywood actor. A pal explains Lee began
dating the actor only two weeks after splitting from her Unisex Salon
bandmate and ex-fiance Kenyon Phillips, saying, "He was her rebound
man."
Courteney Cox: I'm Expecting a Girl
25 May 2004 (WENN)
Friends beauty Courteney Cox is expecting a girl, she and husband David
Arquette have revealed. The Hollywood couple - who have been trying to
conceive for a number of years - decided to speak out on their happy
news after becoming infuriated by the number of erroneous rumors
surrounding 39-year-old Cox's pregnancy. Courteney and David were left
angry when his brother Alexis Arquette let slip that she was finally
pregnant on The Sharon Osbourne Show last October. In recent months they
have had to endure reports that Cox was expecting twins but one died
leaving her distraught and speculation they were expecting a boy. But
the Scream co-stars have denied all the reports simply stating they are
looking forward to welcoming their daughter into the world this summer.
Audience Research Originally Gave 'Friends' an F Grade
14 May 2004 (StudioBriefing)
The Smoking Gun website has posted a copy of an NBC internal report
distributed to program executives in 1994 showing that the pilot for
Friends received poor marks in audience tests. The show received 41 out
of 100 points and was graded "weak," according to the research. "Overall
reactions to this pilot were not very favorable," the report began.
"Most viewers felt the show was not very entertaining, clever, or
original," the report continued and said that "viewing intentions for a
series based on this pilot were not encouraging." While teens and young
adults "seemed to connect slightly better with the individual
characters," older adults found them to be "smug, superficial, and
self-absorbed ... and felt they were not really like people they would
want to know."
Courteney Cox Arquette's birthday is coming up on June 15. For more info
on the great CC, read below!
Also her wedding anniversary to David was on June 12. They were married
back in 1999. 5 years, congrats!!!

Aniston's dad wanted her to be doc
NEW YORK: Jennifer Aniston could have been healing the wounded, had her
father had his way.
According to Teen Hollywood , in a recent interview to Britain's Daily
Express newspaper, Jennifer revealed that her father John Aniston,
wanted her to be a doctor.
"I really knew I'd made it when my dad finally conceded he didn't want
me to become a doctor anymore. He has always been supportive of me to
try to get into medicine because there's no steady money in acting. He
wanted me to be a career girl," Aniston was quoted as saying.
John's efforts to convince her about a career change ended only when the
filming began for fifth season of Friends .
"I had just signed a new contract for a million dollars an episode, and
we were having a drink and he said: 'It seems like
steady money isn't a problem for you, so I guess I'll throw out all
those med school prospectuses I'd been keeping,'" Aniston added.

Q: When did you start watching Friends?
A: Well I remember the first episode I saw was "The one with the Black
out" I loved it so much, I just kept watching the show.
Q: Why do you like it?
A: I love this show because its funny, full of emotion, suspenseful and
always keeps you wanting more. Plus, the jokes are so hilarious!
Q: Who's your Fave Friends?
A: Its so hard to choose one, but if I have to, I would probably say
Monica. I can relate to her personality, and she's always got her own
humor, ideas and style.
Q: Fave Episode?
A: I'd have to say my favorite episode is "The one where Rachel dates
Joey," because I get so emotional when I watch it. I laugh so hard at
the Mrs. Pacman parts, especially when Phoebe starts swearing and Ben
walks in. I also get pretty happy when Joey and Rachel are on the date,
and I cry when they watch Cujo at the end cuz that's where Joey starts
to fall in love with Rachel.
Q: How obsessed are you?
A: Well I'm pretty obsessed. I've seen all the episodes many times, can
answer almost any trivia, I got loads of posters and friends stuff, and
I own some of their dvds. Me and my best Friend Kaila, use to print out
the scripts and act out the parts, me being Monica and her as Rachel. In
fact that's out nick names for each other! We also play Friends trivia
game a lot. I watch Friends every chance I get, so everyday I watch it
at: 5:00, 5:30, 7:30, 8:30 and 9:00.
Q: Friends related fact:
A: I guess I'm like Monica and Rachel. A bit of both. I love to have
things clean, I'm a bit of a push over, and I love to fall in love.
Q: Have you been to a taping or met a Friend?
A: I've tried to a couple times, but no luck. Since they wont be taping
anymore live episodes I guess I can't, but I would have loved to. Maybe
I can just go by the studio if I ever get the chance and at least see
what it looked like.
