"Joey" just started airing on Channel Five in the UK. Enjoy Matt's new
show!

Friends Season 9 was released on DVD in the US on March 8, 2005.

Matthew Perry can now be seen in Hanes television commericals with
Michael Jordon. The commericals consist of the two playing pool and
wearing different Hanes shirts, the slogan is "Look who we got our Hanes
on now." If you go to the Hanes website, http://www.hanes.com/index.jsp
you can watch four different clips of Matthew, some which aren't airing
on TV. I think they are pretty cute, I like the one where he says to
Michael Jordon, "I hear you play basketball."

Schwimmer To Make West End Debut
David Schwimmer will follow in the footsteps of fellow Friends star
Matthew Perry when he makes his London stage debut later this year.
Schwimmer, 38, will star in a 13-week run of playwright Neil LaBute's
new work Some Girls in the capital's West End. Some Girls, about an
emotionally-distant lothario who revisits four ex-girlfriends before
proposing to his current lover, opens on May 12 at London's Gielgud
Theatre. Perry, Schwimmer's co-star in the defunct TV comedy, appeared
in a London production of David Mamet's Sexual Perversity In Chicago
opposite Minnie Driver in May 2003. He says, "I've always dreamed of
doing a play in London. I've never been married or engaged but at this
time of my life this play speaks to me about something I and my
contemporaries are going through and have gone through. It's about
relationships and the choices people make, learning to live with those
choices, and recovering from the damage done when those choices go
wrong." (IMDB)

Pitt and Aniston Dined Together on Valentine's Day
World Entertainment News Network Brad Pitt enjoyed a romantic meal with
his estranged wife Jennifer Aniston on Valentine's Day - fuelling
speculation the couple's split is only temporary. The Troy actor
reportedly dined with the former Friends actress at their $17 million
Los Angeles mansion - contradicting reports they are heading for a
speedy divorce. A source says, "If romantic gestures had a financial
value, this one would be worth a million dollars. It really was the
thought that counted. It was totally no frills - their favorite Chinese
food from Mr. Chow, red wine from the grocery store and a dessert of
frozen yogurt and grapes."

LeBlanc Shuns Movie Career
World Entertainment News Network Matt LeBlanc snubbed offers to further
his movie career when Friends finished because he wasn't prepared to
risk failure in the notoriously tough industry. The Joey star tried to
transform his worldwide fame into Hollywood success with parts in Lost
In Space and Charlie's Angels, but roles proved hard to come by. And
LeBlanc admits he's far happier fronting his own TV sitcom, because he
doesn't have to face losing credibility by teaming up with an
incompetent film director who could potentially destroy his career. The
37-year-old says, "I do look at movies, but they are so hard. They are
such a different animal - you're coming into a completely new set of
circumstances. You don't know if the director's good unless they are a
really big director, and I haven't had that luxury. Also, you don't know
who the crew is, or know the environment - you're usually filming in a
foreign place. I like to be able to watch television and go to sleep in
my own bed at night."

The Friends' series finale last May was the second most-watched TV show
of 2004 with 52.5 million viewers, second only to the Super Bowl, but
above the Academy Awards.

LeBlanc's show "Joey" is the 9th most popular television show being
recorded by TiVo subscribers.

Jennifer Aniston has five films in the works including the upcoming
Derailed and Rumor Has It.

David Schwimmer is taming up with Ben Affleck to make a comedy about
competitive poker.

Ricci lives out Joey dream
World Entertainment News Network

February 25, 2005

Christina Ricci is thrilled she finally got a chance to act alongside
Matt LeBlanc, because she's been fixated with his character Joey
Tribbiani for years.

Ricci admits she was a fan of LeBlanc's ditzy character for the duration
of Friends' 10-year run - so landing a guest appearance as Tribbiani's
spoiled sister on Friends spin-off Joey is a dream come true.

She says, "I've always loved Joey Tribbiani. Me and my sister have
always loved him. We just want him to come over for Thanksgiving, or
something.

"I've never had a crush on him, I just wanted him to come around and
like eat sandwiches with us and hug us. So when they asked me to do
Joey, I was like, 'Okay!'"

Ricci's episode aired on Feb. 24.

Matthew Perry home after brief hospital stay
2/13/2005
USA Today

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Friends actor Matthew Perry is back home after a
brief hospital stay due to a bad reaction to prescription medicine.

Perry, 35, was taken to an area hospital earlier this week and stayed
overnight for doctor-ordered observation, his publicist, Lisa Kasteler,
said. She did not provide further details.

"He's home. He's fine," she said Sunday.

Perry has previously been treated for alcohol and prescription drug
addiction. This week's hospitalization was unrelated to those incidents,
Kasteler said.

UPN Orders Two Comedy Pilots
Feb 14, 2005
By Nellie Andreeva
Reuters/Hollywood Reporter

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - UPN has given the green light to a
pair of comedy pilots: "Friends in the AM," executive produced by
Courteney Cox and David Arquette, and "20 Things to Do Before You're
30," based on the British series of the same name.

"Friends in the AM" chronicles the brutally honest, fiercely loyal and
incredibly complex on- and off-camera exploits of the three female hosts
of a morning talk show. Cox and Arquette will executive produce with the
pilot's writer, Alison Gibson. The couple previously produced the house
make over show "Mix it Up" on WE.

"20 Things to Do," which aired on Britain's Channel 4, revolves around
four twentysomething friends who create a list of 20 things they want to
do before they are 30 and set out to accomplish them.

While most of her fellow "Friends" alumni are loading their schedules
with movies, Lisa Kudrow is going the route of Matt LeBlanc and
returning to the small screen. Her half-hour comedy series, "The
Comeback," was co-created by Michael Patrick King ("Sex and the City")
for HBO. "It's about an actress who is around my age who was on a sitcom
that ended 10 years ago," Kudrow said. "It wasn't great, and she was OK.
But she's so desperate to be back in the limelight that she's agreed to
be on a reality show called 'The Comeback.' We just keep coming up with
whatever is the most humiliating thing for her and it's really good."

son, you'll be able to tell your kids that you slept with their

Q: When did you start watching Friends?
A: I began watching Friends a few days after September 11th. The news
was playing on every station, and I needed a break. I saw The One With
The Football and I began to watch, I fell in love and have been watching
ever since.

Q: Why do you like Friends?
A: It's a funny show, with down to earth characters. They are people
just like you and I. They deal with everyday problems, and they just
make me feel like everything is not that bad. I always pop in a DVD
when I am feeling stressed, they help me chill.

Q: Who's your Fave Friend?
A: I love Ross, he is adorable and goofy, so he is my favorite guy.
Monica is my favorite girl. She is quirky, but everyone still loves
her.

Q: Fave Episode?
A: "The One Where No One's Ready" makes me laugh every time I watch it.
I love that Ross drinks the fat for Rachel!!!

Q: How obsessed are you?
A: I think I am pretty obsessed. I made a large collage on one of my
walls with a year's worth of magazine clippings. I have shirts with I
love Ross on them, and another with a picture of the cast. I also own
all of the DVDs that have been released, and I have tapes that I made
before they released the DVDs. I also have David Schwimmer's autograph
and Courteney Cox's.

Q: Friends related fact:
A: I just love the show, the best in the world!!!!

Q: Have you been to a taping or met a Friend?
A: No, I havent. Never got a chance. Tickets were just about
impossible to get. I wish I could have gotten to.
