Matt LeBlanc turned 38 on July 25 and Lisa Kudrow turns 42 today (July
30).

Cox's independent film "November" is currently playing in select
theaters. Cox plays photographer Sophie Jacobs, who is going through the
most difficult time of her life when her boyfriend dies. It has been
described as an exciting, intense, demanding psychological thriller.
Read the below USA Today article for more information on her new film.

Kudrow also has a film out in theaters, called "Happy Endings." The film
weaves multiple stories to create a witty look at love, family and the
sheer unpredictability of life itself. Laura Dern, Maggie Gyllenhaal and
Tom Arnold also star. Rated R for sexual content, language and some drug
use.

According to NBC their Thursday lineup of "Joey," "Will & Grace," the
Donald Trump "Apprentice" and "ER" will remain intact.

Courteney Cox Arquette is now an official sponsor of Kinerase skin care
products. They have a beautiful photo of her on their website, along
with quotes from her about the line. http://www.kinerase.com

Lisa Kudrow's new HBO series "The Comeback" premiered June 5 and new
episodes continue to air.

According to Planet Dan's Joey Ratings, "Joey" concluded it's first
season with a one-hour finale that was the series' highest audience
since March with 8.4 million viewers.

went back to the sports world as host of the ESPY Awards on July 13 on
the ESPN channel. He took over from comedian and Oscar-winning actor
Jamie Foxx, who hosted the previous two years. Perry was a nationally
ranked junior singles and doubles player in Canada. He has been a
familiar face at matches played by his friend Jennifer Capriati over the
years.

Cox has a whole new bag
By William Keck, USA TODAY

BEVERLY HILLS — Courteney Cox has it all.

Braving a series of heart-rending miscarriages, Cox, 41, delivered
healthy daughter Coco just over a year ago. To celebrate the baby's
first birthday (June 13), her husband of more than six years, David
Arquette, whom Cox calls a "shopaholic," filled their nursery with toys
for days.

Coco's growing vocabulary now includes the words "flower," "lion" and
"bellybutton." And earlier this day, Daddy treated Coco to her first
swimming lesson.

Home is a Malibu beach house shared with dogs Harley, Hopper and Ella
just a few houses down from Cox's best pal and former Friends co-star,
Jennifer Aniston. Still coming down from the high of that classic
sitcom's 1994-2004 run, Cox is making a smooth transition to films with
a slate of diverse projects, including a 2006 superhero comedy, Zoom,
with Tim Allen.

She is also developing TV shows with Arquette, 33, and has a dramatic
HBO TV series in the works about a woman addicted to pills and booze, to
be written by Nick Cassavetes. And her new psychological thriller,
November, a low-budget film shot in L.A. over 15 days in 2003, opens
Friday in New York and Los Angeles.

Yet, cozied up in the corner of a sofa in a suite at the Regent Beverly
Wilshire Hotel, Cox casually acknowledges fleeting feelings of
self-destructiveness: "We all have this dark side of our personality
when you're on Mulholland Drive and you're like, 'Well, I'll just run
over; I'm just going to go drive over (the edge).' "

With that confession, Cox reveals herself to have been vulnerable to
feelings of what she calls "smallness," feelings shared by her November
character, photographer Sophie Jacobs.

After Sophie's boyfriend is murdered at a corner store, her sanity is
called into question as we see her with her mother (Anne Archer) and
therapist (Nora Dunn) exploring feelings of grief, guilt and confusion.
To take on Sophie's artistic flair, Cox donned glasses, pierced a fourth
hole in her right ear and dyed a white streak in her hair. To tap into
Sophie's grief, Cox thought of her father, Richard, who died of cancer
in 2001; a childhood car accident; and a close friend who had been
struck by a car.

Cox says she reflects on one disturbing image to keep her from steering
her own car off a cliff:

"I start thinking, 'I don't want David to take another girl to the beach
house.' Just because that's our house. He's younger than me, (so) you
know ... but that's our special place."

Cox says the addition of Coco has given her life added significance and
has decreased those self-destructive urges. But the baby was by no means
an instant cure-all.

"I went through a really hard time — not right after the baby, but when
(Coco) turned 6 months," Cox says of her delayed postpartum depression.
"I couldn't sleep. My heart was racing. And I got really depressed.

"I went to the doctor and found out my hormones had been pummeled."

Taking progesterone helped Cox regain some normality. She also received
encouragement from close pals Brooke Shields, who also conquered
postpartum depression, and Aniston.

Never have the former Friends co-stars relied on each other more than
during this past year of momentous change. Cox describes Aniston as one
of her closest friends. But when asked whether she has also been able to
maintain a friendship with Aniston's soon-to-be-ex husband, Brad Pitt,
she declines comment.

Now Cox and Arquette are proceeding with plans to give Coco a brother or
sister. "I look at Coco and say, 'I'm blessed. Why mess with this?
Should I take any chances?' But we've got to try for a boy. We've got to
have a little (boy) Arquette in the family.

Aniston's Ex Cancels eBay Auction Plans
Jul 30, 7:12 PM (ET)

NEW YORK (AP) - If you wanted a makeshift birthday card supposedly
written on a piece of toilet paper by Jennifer Aniston, you'll have to
look elsewhere. Aniston's former fling Michael Baroni, a California
lawyer, has canceled his eBay auction - originally set to begin Friday -
of keepsakes from the pair's teenage romance.

The goods included a piece of paper with Aniston's name and phone number
written in lipstick and a photo of the pair hugging when they first met.

"I have voluntarily canceled the eBay auction upon receiving word from
one of Jennifer's representatives that she didn't want me conducting the
auction," Baroni said in a statement to The Associated Press on Friday.
"I have nothing but fond memories of Jennifer as a friend and only wish
her well."

Aniston's representative, Stephen Huvane, didn't immediately return a
call Friday for comment.

According to Baroni, there was confusion when three fake auctions popped
up on the online auction Web site.

"Any such postings on eBay purporting to be from me were not, in fact,
from me," said Baroni.

NBC Hopes for Rebound, Releases Schedule
May 16
By DAVID BAUDER

NEW YORK (AP) - NBC's formula for erasing the memory of a bad ratings
year includes a Jerry Bruckheimer-produced drama about the Pentagon,
Martha Stewart picking a protege and Amy Grant criss-crossing the
country to make dreams come true.

The network - likely to finish an unprecedented fourth place this season
- said it will introduce six new series in September but said its plans
could change before then.

NBC's 8 p.m. hour will look different on five nights next fall. Two of
those new shows include Martha Stewart's rendition of "The Apprentice"
(Wednesday) and "Three Wishes" with Grant (Friday).

"The key driver in putting this together was to affect the 8 o'clock
hour," said Jeff Zucker, NBC Universal Television Group president. "It's
really where we fell down this year and the ability to launch things at
9 having them self-start is nearly impossible."

NBC is canceling the fourth installment of the "Law & Order" series,
"Trial By Jury," which lost star Jerry Orbach to cancer shortly after
production started. NBC risked alienating producer Dick Wolf because it
wanted to try some new ideas, executives said.

"American Dreams,""Third Watch,""Revelations" and the Mark
Burnett/Sylvester Stallone boxing series "The Contender" also will not
be returning.

"The West Wing" is moving to Sunday nights, with the campaign to replace
Martin Sheen as the mythical president continuing.

Taking its place on Wednesdays will be "E-Ring," the Pentagon drama
starring Dennis Hopper and Benjamin Bratt. One of the busiest producers
in Hollywood, Bruckheimer also is behind the "CSI" franchise on CBS.

Illustrating how TV schedules are constantly in flux, NBC promised two
other new comedies would come on the air sometime next season. Two shows
not on the September schedule, "Scrubs" and "Fear Factor," will also
return at some point.

Executives conceded the new schedule might not make it past this week:
It will be reviewed when all the other broadcast networks release their
plans. NBC is the first of the six to unveil its schedule.

"It's a lot easier to go first, as we have in the last decade, when
you're operating from a position of strength," Zucker said. "We are not
going to be afraid in the next week or two weeks to go back and take a
second look."

NBC's troubles this year came when they were unable to replace the
departing "Friends" and "Frasier" with new hits. After much
soul-searching, NBC said it was returning its Thursday schedule intact,
despite losing ground to CBS on what was once its most popular night.

That includes the troubled "Friends" spinoff "Joey," which hardly got a
resounding vote of confidence.

"The show was a mixed bag to say the least this year creatively," said
Kevin Reilly, NBC entertainment president. "I have never felt the show
was broken. I felt the show was uninspired at times."

NBC also debated the wisdom of having two versions of "The Apprentice,"
with Stewart and Donald Trump. In the end, Reilly said the network
wanted to strike while interest in Stewart was hot. He said the two
shows were very different in tone.

NBC renewed "The Office" despite lousy ratings. The network scheduled
only two hours of comedy for the entire week. The one new comedy: "My
Name is Earl," with Jason Lee portraying a downtrodden lottery winner.

NBC also announced that Ann Curry of the "Today" show will do double
duty as the new co-host of "Dateline NBC" with Stone Phillips.

People Pop Quiz: Couteney Cox
"People"
July 25, 2005

Couteney Cox plays a photographer coping with the murder of her
boyfriend in "November," an independent film shot on a shoestring budget
and shown at last year's Sundance festival. (The movie opened in New
York and Los Angeles on July 22, and in other cities later.) Scoop
caught up with the former Friend, 41.

Q: How do you balance your film work, being a mom [to 1-year-old Coco],
and your social life?
A: The hardest thing when you have a baby is keeping up with your
friends. You find that what's most important is a free moment with your
baby. But everybody understands why it is tough to stay in touch, and
when you see my little baby girl, you go, "Oh, okay."

Q: Why did it take a while to get this film to theaters?
A: We waited to release this movie because they wanted me to promote it
at a certain time, because it's not exactly going to be a summer
blockbuster.

Q: The film was shot in only 15 days. Was that tough?
A: I embraced and enjoyed it. I knew it was going to be difficult, and
it was. I think we worked probably like 18 hours a day. We had a
schedule and it was 15 dyas and that was it: $150,000 budget. Digital
video. One take-two if we had time.

Q: What are you looking to accomplish in movies?
A: I look for things that are fun to me, that would challenge me in some
way. And when I say fun, I don't mean necessarily make me laugh. Just
something that I lose myself in.

Q: Getting good scripts?
A: I've gotten some good ones. I'm going to be doing this movie with Tim
Allen where I play a comic-book-obsessed scientist who wants to help
some special children become superheroes.

Q: What's next?
A: I'm producing a reality show for TBS called "Daisy Does America" with
British comic Daisy Donovan.

Q: Is Mix it Up, the interior decorating show you produced for WE:
Women's Entertainment network returning in the fall?
A: No. It was fun to do and I learned a lot. But it's hard, unless you
do it all the time.
