Jennifer Aniston's new movie "Derailed" comes to theaters in the US on
Nov. 11. In this suspense thriller, ad exec and family man Charles
Schine (Clive Owen) meets a sexy business woman (Jennifer Aniston), on
the commuter train to Chicago. Flirtation quickly escalates, but their
fling turns dangerous when a violent criminal, LaRoche (Vincent Cassel),
blackmails them, promising to reveal their indiscretion and threatening
their families if they not pay him. With their lives thrown terrifyingly
off course, they must figure out how to turn the tables on LaRoche and
save their families.
Lisa Kudrow's HBO series, The Comeback has been canceled. Read the
article below for a farewell story on the show.
Posters of Jennifer Aniston's upcoming film "Rumor Has It," can already
be seen in theaters, but the tentative release date for the US is Dec.
25 and late January for the UK. In the film, Aniston plays a woman who
learns that her family was the inspiration for the book and film "The
Graduate" -- and that she just might be the offspring of the
well-documented event. Also starring Mark Ruffulo, Kevin Costner and
Shirley MacLaine. To view the trailer go to the official site at

The era of great TV theme songs seems to be over. Today's shows jump
into the action so viewers don't have time to change the channel.
Billboard made a "Hot 100" list and their top chart positions. The
Rembrandts Friends theme, "I'll Be There For You" made the list at #3
and number 17 in the charts in 1995.
In Jennifer Aniston's upcoming comedy "Friends with Money," she plays a
house cleaner who has wealthy pals. Also "The Break-Up" where Jennifer
Aniston costars with Vince Vaughn (Wedding Crashers, Old School) and Jon
Favreau (Pete from Friends) opens in the us Feb. 17, 2006. In it Jen and
Vince were a couple (in the film, that is) but aren't anymore.
Unfortunately for the pair -- but fortunately for us -- they're forced
to remain roomies even after their relationship goes down the crapper,
giving the two stars carte blanche to dazzle us with their comedic
chemistry.
BUDDING ROMANCE: ("People," by Stephen M. Silverman)
Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn (Wedding Crashers, Old School) were
spotted this week in Chicago dancing, eyes locked, before kissing and
making out as bodyguards shooed the crowd away, "People" reports in its
current issue. Early Tuesday evening, Aniston, 36, showed up at the Vic
Theatre, where Vaughn, 35, brought his Wild West Comedy Show tour.
During the performance, Aniston watched from the balcony. At the party
after the show, Vaughn grabbed Aniston around the waist, pulled her to
his side and told a few friends, "She's the best!" while rubbing her
back. He later gave her a kiss on the temple, and the two proceeded to
make out on the dance floor.
The final season of Friends will be available on DVD in the US and
Canada on November 15, 2005, but you can preorder it now. For more

Our Newsletter-versary
This is Friends Newsletters 11th year Anniversary!!!
Yes, Friends Newsletters has been around for THAT long, more than a
decade since the end of Friend's first season . We started sending
newsletters right before the second season aired and we've been enjoying
every minute of it. Originally Friends Newsletters was a weekly
newsletter, than it became bi-monthly, but once the show ended we became
less regular. Sorry about that, but with our busy careers it's harder to
research news on the cast of Friends, although we definitely still enjoy
it. At our peak we claimed a memberhip of 5000 members world wide, but
recently interest in the show has dwindled since the finale and so has
our readership.
Friends has ended but Matt LeBlanc is starring in the spinoff Joey. Who
would have seen this coming?
See you for our 12th anniversary! ;-)

My Farewell to The Comeback
"People"
By T.G.
Here's one love note for TV's most misunderstood show:
"Train wreck" is the term I've often heard used to describe Lisa
Kudrow's HBO series, which had its first-season finale on Sept. 4.
Wrong! A bitter comedy about a former sitcom star trying for a double
comeback (a reality show piggybacking onto a new sitcom), this is no
train wreck. It's a brilliant high-wire act. Valerie Cherish is an
actress of wobbly standing (career highs include a Peoples Choice Award
and having a monkey poop on her head on Leno) inching her way along
without plunging into...what lower depths? Game shows don't really exist
anymore. It's a tribute to Kudrow's skill, her nervous, finehoned
twittering, the fate of an utterly trite star can have been so
suspensefully desperate through these weeks.
Not Much has gone according to plan for Valerie: Her sitcom character
had been reduced to a Mrs. Roper monstrosity in a jogging suit, she's
treated with slovenly contempt by one of the show's writers, and it's
clear her comeback lags behind the arrival of the sitcom's new star, a
blonde cutie named Juna. Valerie, with cloying maternal sweetness,
insist on calling her "baby girl."
This is acid Hollywood satire, Day of the Locust trickled down to modern
TV. I hope it comes back.

Aniston Steps Out in Manhattan
Thursday Nov 03, 2005
By Barbara Sandler and KC Baker
Her new movie is Derailed, but Jennifer Aniston's life, after major
bumps, seems back on track.
In New York City to promote the psychological thriller last week, a
jovial Aniston, 36, hit Manhattan hot-spots, dining with friends at
Babbo, checking out Columbus Circle with costar Clive Owen and attending
a Halloween party at Nobu 57.
She even managed to keep a low profile in some spots. "I don’t think
many people eating here even recognized her," a waitress at Babbo told
PEOPLE.
Asked at a press conference about her split from Brad Pitt, Aniston took
pains to say that, at heart, her experience was like that of millions of
others. "This is nothing out of the ordinary. People walk through this
stuff all the time," she said. "I'm not a role model or poster child for
how to do anything. I have a great family, a great support system, great
friends."
As for her relationship with Vince Vaughn, Aniston deflected questions
during a taping of Larry King Live, which is set to air Nov. 8.
"Vince Vaughn, I love him," King said. Aniston's response: "Oh, God."
King persisted, saying: "Come on, we love him," to which the actress
answered, "Yes, we love him. He's great."
"Is it serious?" King asked about the romance, but couldn't get much
from the former Friends star. "I'm not talking about it," she said.
Asked about wanting children, Aniston answered yes, but not as a single
mom: "I'd like to share that with someone."
Meanwhile, on the same day that Aniston dined at Babbo, Vaughn played a
principal at Chicago's Amundsen High School as part of the city's Public
Schools' Principal for a Day program.
The Wedding Crashers star visited 20 classes and coached English lit
students rehearsing Sophocles' Antigone.
"He acted out some of our lines," said student Amer Grozdanic, 18. Added
Ambria Taylor, 18: "He was really down-to-earth and a very good
speaker...He talked to us like we were equals."
The school's actual principal, Carlos Munoz, said the students were
thrilled to meet the actor – and they weren't the only ones. "A lot of
teachers thought he was hot," said Munoz.
But when students asked Vaughn about his romance with Aniston he was
less forthcoming. "I didn't know the paparazzi were going to be here,"
Vaughn joked. "We're really good friends and she's a really good
person."

Aniston Trespasser Gets a Year in Jail
Tuesday Nov 01, 2005
By Howard Breuer
A homeless man pleaded no contest on Tuesday to entering Jennifer
Aniston's Malibu home in August – in a plea deal that sends him to jail
for a year and slaps him with the toughest possible restraining order
under California law.
David Hesterbey, 49, is required to stay at least 1,000 yards from the
Friends star and her home for 10 years, until Nov. 1, 2015. He has
already served two months of his jail sentence.
"The law provides a protective order for up to 10 years when this
particular crime is alleged," said prosecutor Suzanne Freeman, a member
of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Stalking and Threat Assessment
team. Freeman said she had "no idea" what Hesterbey was thinking when he
entered Aniston's home.
The defendant, who wore a lime green jail jumpsuit, spoke softly during
the brief hearing, and seemed near tears. There was no discussion of the
circumstances of the case. Aniston was not at the hearing.
On Aug. 25, Hesterbey took a $250 cab ride from Santa Barbara to Malibu,
stiffed the cabbie, vaulted a 9-foot fence and entered Aniston's house
on the Pacific Coast Highway, prosecutors said. Aniston's employees told
authorities Hesterbey said he was "looking for Jennifer."
Aniston, 36, was not home at the time. She was in Chicago filming The
Break Up with Vince Vaughn.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Karen J. Nudell ordered that Hesterbey
receive psychological counseling while in custody.
Hesterbey's attorney, Excel A. Sharrieff, told PEOPLE his client is
neither crazy nor a burglar, and that he was only looking for a career
boost from the high-profile actress.
"He was simply trying to visit Jennifer Aniston because he's an aspiring
actor," Sharrieff said. “He was not looking to steal anything, he just
went in through an open door.
"We're not saying what he did was right," Sharrieff added. "But it
wasn't stalking."
Without Tuesday’s plea deal, Hesterbey would have remained in custody
until going to trial on charges of burglary and theft (of cab fare),
which carried up to six years and eight months in prison.
Attorneys said Hesterbey, a New York native, has a prior petty theft
conviction, and roughly 10 aliases.
