English Camp  John Henry
 Mar 25, 2007 00:38 PST

Dear praying friends,
I would like to ask your prayers for our English Camp which is coming up
soon from 29 March to 1 April.  School here is out for the
Summer now.  The camp we had last October had good success.
Several teen were saved and some of them have become faithful to
church.  Pray for the kiddos and teens in this camp, for their
salvation, and that we might lead some of their parents to Christ
too.  Please pray!
A young man, in his early twenties by the name of Oown, who we
have been witnessing to, came to church this morning and heard the story
of Christ on the cross between the two malefactors and received the Lord
Jesus Christ.  Praise God!
Luke 23:39-43:  "And one of the malefactors which were hanged
railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the
other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou
art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the
due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he
said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy
kingdom.  43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day
shalt thou be with me in paradise."
One of the malefactors continued in his rebellion against God, but the
other malefactor said the following:
1.  "Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same
condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due
reward of our deeds."  He acknowledged that he was a sinned
deserving of death. This is called repentance.
2.  "... but this man hath done nothing amiss." He
acknowledged the sinlessness  of the Lord Jesus Christ.  This
along with the next statement is called faith.
3.   "Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy
kingdom."  He recognized that even though Jesus was on the
cross that he was King and would have His Kingdom after His death.
He also believed that Christ was able to save him.
The Lord Jesus Christ immediately responded to his prayer,
"Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in
paradise."
Pray for this new believer.  Again his name is Oown.
"Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have
free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:  And that we
may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not
faith." (2 Thess 3:1-2).
In Christ's Service for Souls,
John Henry
