Dear Pastor and praying friends,

Greetings in the Name that’s above every name.

God has been blessing the work here in Nong Khai greatly!  Many have
been saved during this Quarter and we are excited about what God is
doing!  We believe it is a result of your prayers.  Thank you
all very much for praying for us!

Henrys In Thailand E-News: To help you to better pray for us we
send out periodic updates on our work, prayer requests, and news about
Thailand.  If anyone is interested in receiving a few e-mails from
us here in Thailand each month just send a blank e-mail message to
henrys-in-t-@list.worthyofpraise.org to
subscribe.  We would greatly appreciate your special prayers for
specific issues and events.

Salvations & Baptisms:  During this report period we led
a total of 15 souls to the Lord Jesus that we feel were truly
saved.  In addition to those we also had an English Camp with 36
youngsters in attendance of which 20 made professions of faith.  We
also were able to get into over 100 schools here in Nong Khai Provence
(70 elementary, 30 high schools, and 7 colleges).  There were
numerous professions of faith in those schools (about 57), but we cannot
tell for sure how many of these were really saved.  The schools gave
us only limited access to give Gospel presentations.  So we had a
total of over 90 professions of faith during this Quarter. We
baptize in the Mekong River and it has been colder than normal and a lot
of sickness going around so we have baptisms planned for April.  We
do like to baptize believers as soon after their salvation as possible,
but have been hindered.

Church Attendance: The average Sunday morning attendance for both
works (Nong Khai and Phon Phisai) was 41 (Adults: 19, Teens: 11, Kids:
11). The average Wednesday evening attendance in Nong Khai was 14
(Adults: 9, Teens: 1, Kids: 4). The high day for Nong Khai was 19 on
Sunday, 14 January.  The high day in Phon Phisai was 54 on Sunday, 4
February.  Pray for the numerous villages we visit and preach in
each month too.

Radio & Esan Baptist Bible Institute: The correspondence
school processed 49 lessons for 39 students. The training of brothers Oie
and Sak is going well.  Sak is taking more responsibility in the
Nong Kahi work, and Oie is doing very well in his leading of the work in
Phoin Phisai. Ecumenicalism in ramped in Thailand, but Oie and Sak are
committed to our Biblical Baptist principles. They are both helping
me in the preparation of radio messages for our daily radio
program.  Please make sure to remember these men and ministries in
your prayers, and especially pray for Laotian souls to be saved through
the Word of Life Radio Program.

Psalm Returning To Thailand:  I will be returning to the
States alone sometime within the next few months to pick up Psalm when
her second semester of training at Independent Baptist College is
finished.  I will take advantage of the trip to do 2 or 3 more
months of fund raising, so any assistance with booking new churches
would be greatly appreciated for my time there will be short.
The falling US Dollar has neutralized the support we have gained.
We still need a reliable pick-up truck for visiting contacts that live a
long distant from us, and we still have zero toward purchasing property
for a permanent facility for EBBI, Radio, etc.  EBBI is an extension
of Salt Lake Baptist College.  I plan on training Psalm and Song
further myself here in Thailand before they go to Baptist Bible
Translator Institute.  Psalm will be 20 soon, and Song 19 so I
am looking for good Bible believing, soul winning, missionary husbands
interested in the field of Thailand for them.  Actually Song is
interested in Africa, but she can start here in Thailand which she has
already done.

“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free
course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: and that we may be
delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.”
(2 Thess 3:1-2)

Yours for Christ and Thai & Laotian
Souls,

John Henry
