2/26 - Showing of "Dying to Live: A Migrant's Journey," 6:30pm
The St. Ignatius Loyola Pax Christi Chapter will hold a viewing and discussion of "Dying to Live: A Migrant's Journey." This documentary is a profound look at the human face of immigrant people, exploring who they are, why they leave their homes and what they face in their journey. Drawing on the insights of Pulitizer Prize-winning photographers, theologians, church and congressional leaders, activists, musicians, and immigrant people themselves, it is a reflection on the human struggle for a more dignified life and the search to find God in the midst of it all.
During the discussion, two parishioners will give their reactions to participating in a national ecumenical theological conference on immigration held in Tijuana, Mexico. All are invited. Pizza and soda will be available.
If you plan to attend, please e-mail Rosaleen at rosie-@yahoo.com, or call 212-348-6987.
St. Ignatius Loyola Church is located at 980 Park Ave. at 84th Street, NYC; Train 4/5/6 to 86th St.
