If you, or someone you know who is supportive of maintaining
and exercising our rights and freedoms, is available to
attend court at 10am tomorrow, Friday, July 11th in
Kamloops, BC, Dave Lindsay would greatly appreciate it.
Dave will be arguing in Superior court for our right to
receive "justice" without cost. Currently, in order to
appeal a lower court decision, the onus is on the appellant
to provide costly court transcripts to the court. These can
run into thousands of dollars, thereby putting elements of
the due process of law beyond the reach of many hard working
people. It appears that the more money you have, the more
"justice" and due process of law you are eligible for; and
this practise is completely contrary to the rule of law in
our country.
If we do nothing to prevent the erosion of our inherent and
unalienable rights and freedoms by those influences that
seek to control and to live upon the fruits and labour of
others, then we duly deserve such controlling and limiting
effects in our lives. Let's support Dave, if you are able,
in his fight for everyone's rights.
