Why not split your DSB into three sections, you could then have one filled
with mainly fine sand, one filled with coarser material, and one filled with
mud.
That way you should get a greater range of critters, and you can change a
section if you don't think it's working well, without too much disruption.

| | Hey Tobie,
I'm actually in secret negotiations (with myself) as to whether I am going
to go for a 32"x12"x12" DSB in my sump, OR the same size miracle mud (as
|
in
| | Leng Sy) & caulerpa refugium.
I'll say this now, but obviously I might change my mind in the future, but
|
I
| | don't think I'll ever put a DSB in te main tank - it would have to be
remote. But I also said before (Hennie will remember this one......LOL)
|
that
| | I would never abandon FO for reefing...... :-)
Cheers,
Matt

| | Matt,
| | The tank has shown no improvement, despite my recent efforts.
|
You haven't tried a DSB...
Regards,
Tobie
(Wish I could see your face right now, LOL!)
