What makes the book an interesting read? Is it a hardcover purchase? Or a quic trade paper read? I think there's a difference which makes me buy or not buy a hardcover book. Paul Maher

| | | | Kashner to anybody here who hasn't read it. It's a brand new book
(published 2004). I heard it mentioned here once, so I decided to check it
out. It's a very interesting take on the Post-Beat Generation. It's about
one man's (a guy who wanted to be a Beat but was too late) experience at
the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poets. He has a lot to say about a
side of the Beats never examined much. I've just started it and I'm loving
it. Go get it if you've already read all the other Beat stuff out there.

Thanks for the recommendation, Caris. It sounds wonderful. I've just ordered it from Amazon.
