Is there another copy of the story of the bear hunt by Peter Trisler? I
would just love to read it!

Connie, Now that you mentioned it, I do recall you saying you went to the
Filson Club. I do know that there was quite a few old letters of Samuel
Duncan's published in the Jessamine Journal before he died. Their was
some writings of B. Young's also. I remember copying one that had been
written by Peter Trisler, about a bear hunt here in the county, where he
almost got shot. I lost this copy in the flood. Would give anything to
have it back in my collection. These letters were published in the
Jessamine Journal Young published his book in 1898.
