If anyone has information on these Jessamine County families, please let
me know and we can share data. I am descended from Abraham Cassell (b.
MD 1754, d. JessCo KY 1840, m. Sarah Rice, dau. of Jacob Rice, granddau.
of Caspar Rice, on 24 Dec 1801 in Lexington/Nicholasville), through his
son David Nelson Cassell (b. 1812/1814 JessCoKY, d. 1888 Jackson Co MO,
m. 1833 in JessCo KY Mary Ann Corn, dau. of Abram Corn and Lucy Kay). D.
N. Cassell left in 1847 when Mary died, taking his ten children to
Missouri.
