Hello, folks --
Two Berkeley citizen commissions, the Peace and Justice Commission
and the Labor Commission, are asking the City Council and the School
Board to pass a resolution of support for the locked-out workers of
Krug Winery.
A copy of the proposed resolution will follow in a separate message.
If passed, the resolution is to be distributed to all the City
Council and School Board members within the member cities of the
Association of Bay Area Governments.
In order to expedite this process, I have taken responsibility for
gathering the names, mailing addresses, and email addresses of those
City Council and School Board members. I am asking Progressive Portal
users who support the Krug workers for help.
I believe most of this information could be gathered via the
Internet. I am requesting a volunteer to cull the information and put
it in spreadsheet form.
If you are interested, please let me know, and I will send further
instructions. We will wait a few days before beginning the research,
in case I am able to find an already existing list in one place.
