1. Monthly business meeting is this Tuesday at ZING

The Libertarian Party of Marion County's next business meeting is this
coming Tuesday May 12 at 7:00 p.m. at ZING Restaurant, 543 Indiana
Avenue. Zing is in downtown Indianapolis at the corner of Indiana
Avenue and West Street. Please join us for dinner at 6:00 p.m.

The beginning of the meeting features a guest speaker from the ACLU who
will speak about some of their current litigation as well as other
privacy and free speech concerns. Come and find out how we can work
together with this liberty-minded organization.

2. State convention is next weekend

Time: From Friday May 15, 2009 at 4 p.m. until May 17, 2009 at 10 a.m.

Location: Lakeview Holiday Inn, Clarksville, Indiana

The 2009 LPIN State Convention promises to be the best convention in
years with headlining speakers, quality workshops, vendor booths and
lively business session. All this and more to take place alongside our
LPKY friends at the Holiday Inn Lakeview in Clarksville, Indiana.

Friday night hospitality suites kick off the weekend event, with
business meetings and workshops taking place on Saturday. A Sunday
morning breakfast wraps up the weekend event.

3. Next Indy LP Meetup is May 19

What: "After Hours" with Indianapolis Libertarians

When: May 19, 2009 5:00 p.m.

Join other advocates for limited government for some casual libertarian
fun at a great west side location! Guests of Rick's Cafe Boatyard, an
Indianapolis icon, are guaranteed to enjoy a unique and exciting
experience while dining on the massive outside deck and bar, located
next to beautiful Eagle Creek Reservoir.

This After Hours event is in addition to your regularly scheduled
Northside meetup. Just a chance to have some lighthearted socializing
