1. Andy Horning farewell party is tonight

Date: Friday, June 5, 2009

Unfortunately, Andy Horning is leaving Indiana for a new job in Texas.
Please join the party in thanking Andy for his service.


2. LPMC business meeting is next Tuesday

Date: June 9, 2009
Dinner: 6 p.m.
Speaker: 7 p.m.
Business Meeting: 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Location: Noodles & Company, IUPUI

Next Tuesday's LPMC Monthly Business Meeting is at a new location:
Noodles & Co. Restaurant, 903 Indiana Avenue, downtown Indianapolis,
near IUPUI. Look for the conference room in the back.

The meeting will feature guest speaker Abdul Hakim Shabazz. He will be
teaching us "Media 101." Abdul is the host of Abdul in the Morning
weekday mornings on WXNT 1430AM. Abdul's show has been labeled as one of
the most politically influential radio programs in Indiana.

3. Gay pride fair is next weekend

Date: June 13, 2009
Time: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Location: University Park

The Libertarian Party of Marion County will have a booth at the annual
Indy Pride Festival in University Park located in downtown Indianapolis.
Volunteers are needed to march in the parade and to work the booth.

4. "Girls Only" pool party & brunch

Date: June 27, 2009
Time: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: Rebecca & Mark's Farm, Bloomington
Organized By: Rebecca Sink-Burris

Girls, enjoy a heated pool, hot tub and good conversation! Bring
bathing suit, towel, sunscreen and a dish to share. Guests are welcome,
but females only, please!

5. 2nd Annual 4th of July Picnic

Join us July 4th from noon until 4:00 p.m.
Dijak-Robinson home, 1222 Evison Street, Indianapolis, IN 46203
FREE food, FREE beer & GREAT conversations!

Then join us from 6:00 - 7:00pm for the Art of July Parade through
Fountain Square.

Wrap up the day with live music and the Downtown Fireworks Show at the
southwest corner of Virginia Avenue and Leonard Street.
