The LPMC Monthly Business Meeting will be at a new location: the
historic 19th century Athenaeum Building, downtown Indianapolis, home of
the Rathskeller. We'll be in the Max Kade Room, which is on Level 1 (up
the stairs from Street Level).

There's a major change in store. There will no longer be food service
available during our meetings, so please eat before you arrive. Drinks
may be brought up from the restaurant below. The meeting starts with
our guest speaker at 7:00 p.m. sharp, so please arrive a little early to
ensure you're seated in time.

The guest speaker for July's meeting is Richard Mourdock, Indiana's
State Treasurer. Indiana made national headlines recently when Richard
filed an objection with the bankruptcy court handling the Chrysler
proceedings. The State Treasurer serves as Indiana’s Chief Investment
Officer, as well as Chairman of the Indiana Bond Bank.

LPMC Business meetings are always held on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month.
And with your help, they can always be held at the Athenaeum Please
pledge a monthly donation of $5 or more to help offset the room rental
costs.

8. Quotations du jour

"In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it
was planned that way." - Franklin D. Roosevelt

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably
the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute
Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such
Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security". --
Declaration of Independence
