I am looking for someone to lead a Lawson Development team or 3-4. This
position is located west of Chicago.
Position Summary
The Lawson Senior Systems Analyst provides application development
support to the ProSAM application. Application development support
includes resolving / remediating code issues, researching application
enhancement requests, coding solutions, system integration research and
design, functional assessments, hardware support, change management and
source code control, and performing team lead / project management for
major development issues associated with the supported application
and/or the interaction(s) with associated systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Provides proper administration and configuration of the Lawson
application. * Assists in the creation and maintenance of ITG, QA, and
Production environments. * Applies software patches to the Lawson
environments. * Works closely with the development team to ensure "Best
Practice" solutions are being implemented for the interfaces with other
internal software (Pro-Sam, Delta, Legacy, Portal, etc.). * Ensures that
the Lawson DR environment is functional and tested, this would include
the DR Plan, DR Test, and the testing of the MIMIX feeds from FINANC1P
to FINANC2P is within a "tolerable" window. * Provides i-Series hardware
support. * Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
* Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in Computer
Science or equivalent work experience. * Experience using COBOL, SQL,
Lawson 9.x, IBM Websphere, Lawson Application Workbench, Lawson Business
Intelligence 9.x, Lawson Security 9, and Oracle required and experience
with IBM AS400, Oracle Database, FTP, Query, and Client Access
preferred.
