---Merry Christmas---
A (very) short Live and Let Live.
Christmas 2003.
Every week I come with my own story, (last week we had part 60 already)
but I like to skip that for this Special Day!
I'd like to start with:
His Own Story.
A lot of people are forgetting the True Meaning of Christmas.
Since a few years I have learned a lot. I have been very sick in a Dutch
hospital that wasn't even worth that name. Flevo-ziekenhuis
(Flevo-hospital) in Almere, The Netherlands. Loyal readers of this
newsletter know what happened to me, because my wife, Patsy, updated
them every day.
I almost died there; if not for the fact I was in a very bad state of
health, it was for the very bad care-taking in that hospital, and all of
you prayed for me!
I prayed also to the Lord to keep me safe in His arms!
And I felt His hands there, in that more than hostile hospital, and He
kept me safe!
In those days, through news from Patsy and Kay, and later several
others, more then 7.700.000 people, all over the world prayed for me!
I have felt that, I felt the comfort of so many people praying, just for
me, and I survived! I am sure that if I wouldn't have had the Lord with
me in that hospital, I wouldn't be here today to write this to you!
Thanks to all of you for the prayers, so to God, and to my wife, and
many family and friends I survived!
I learned the value of prayer, and tomorrow it is the Birthday of our
King.
December 25 is the day we honor the birth of Jesus Christ.
Born in a humble stable in the city of Bethlehem.
Celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ tomorrow, celebrate Christmas, and
not Xmas!
Remember the fact why 25 December is a Holiday, no: THE Holiday of the
year!
Get Christ back into Christmas now, you still have the possibility!
And let the Spirit of Christmas lay all over the world!
To close this letter I'd like to tell you that I am very glad to be able
to do this every week, and most of all that my letter goes out to you,
my loyal *subscribers!
Nice that you are all with me, follow a piece of my life every week! I
appreciate you all very very much and send you my love and best wishes
for a wonderful Christmas season!
