Cool Fruit Coolers
1 cup (250 mL) blueberries
3 cups (750 mL) Wild Blueberry Juice Cocktail
3 cups (750 mL) 100% White Grape & Peach Juice
Distribute blueberries evenly among cups of two ice cube trays. Pour
blueberry cocktail over berries. Freeze ice cube trays for 12 hours or
until juice is frozen. Place frozen juice cubes into six 12 oz (375 mL)
tall glasses. Pour grape & peach juice over juice cubes & serve.
*Freeze for 12 hours or til frozen. Serve in clear glasses to show off
this beautiful drink to best advantage.

Mint-Pineapple Jam
1 20-oz. can crushed pineapple
¾ cup water
¼ cup lemon juice
7½ cups sugar
2 pouches liquid pectin
½ teaspoon mint extract
Few drops green coloring
Sterilize canning jars & prepare two-piece canning lids according to
manufacturer's directions. To make jam.
Place crushed pineapple in a kettle. Add water, lemon juice, & sugar &
stir well. Place on high heat stirring constantly, bring quickly to a
full boil with bubbles over the entire surface. Boil hard for 1 minute,
stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add pectin, flavor extract, &
coloring. Skim. Fill hot jam immediately into hot, sterile jars, leaving
¼ inch headspace. Wipe rims of jars with a dampened clean paper towel;
adjust two-piece metal canning lids. Process in a Boiling Water Canner.
Yields 9-10 half-pint jars.

Grandma's Remedies:
for cleaning those black marks that show up so often on patten
leather (and we all know kids!) use simple vaseline . If you rub
it on good and rub it off with a soft cloth, they will look like new.

When a baby doll gets smudged as so many do, just wash her with a
washcloth and baby lotion. It does wonders for all sorts of marks!
