[Pakadevas~remembers Rob with love]  Patsy & Rob
 Dec 29, 2006 21:05 PST

On Saturday, December 3oth, Rob is gone 3 years. He is still missed &
always loved by all. Here is the page of memories & a note that went
into my newsletter the day before he died. It sure was fun being with
Rob. I'm glad I remember the happy, as well as the sad. For those
grieving, there is so much comfort on our Remembering Rob pages.
Love, Patsy xoxoxo

Rob received an Angel Teddy Bear from Kay & Kyle. It played, "Jesus
Loves Me". He loved that so much, we sent it with him:)

Hello everyone!
Well, well, we went to the Island on Saturday & when we tried to return
at 5:
00...no ferry! It was called off on emergency when the ferry to another
Island
broke down. It was a long wait, eating on the goodies people gave us,
but, also we saw something really exciting! A school of Porpoises! The
water was very calm, like a mirror, when the sun was going down, &
suddenly I noticed all this activity close to the dock. At first I
thought it was a whale, but, then it
disappeared too quickly & just as quickly was replaced by another &
another &
another. It was so neat! I was trying to get Rob to see them before they
took
off. They stuck all together quite faithfully & kept moving in the same
directions all together. What a beautiful sight! When they went away too
far
for us to see, we took a drive across the Island for Rob to see all the
beautiful Christmas lights, even more beautiful when they were reflected
in the
water so calm. Our 2-hour wait turned out to be quite spectacular.
Another
bonus was seeing all the Christmas lights all the way back home:) Rob
was very excited cause you just don't see those many Christmas lights in
Holland & this was his first experience with it. He was like a little
kid with the Porpoises
AND the lights! hehe
Hope you all are enjoying the sights & sounds of the season as well.
Hugs to you! Patsy*S* xoxoxo

Here is a caption from Rob's Cooking Pot...with all the fun as well!

Spinach-Scallion Dip
The recipe from today is not mine. And therefore I am a bit jealous! It
is good, and I did never think of it! That's the part that can't be
good. I at first thought: I can publish this recipe, and never say it is

Mia's! Of course Mia will read it, and think: "Hey, that Rob steals my
recipe without meantioning me! That ain't fair!!"
And of course that is right, but the fact is that I can reach all the
readers of Rob's Cookingpot, and Mia can't! But then it simmers through
my brain (do I have one, and so yes, where is the proof): "Rob ('s
Cookingpot), this is not fair! You expect fairness from everybody else,
and you yourself.........!"
And therefore this statement: Mia is the creator (I go out from the, for

me unknown fact that Mia didn't steal it herself, because otherwise it
is getting too complicated) of this wonderfull Spinach-dip recipe!
Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Was that so difficult? Hehe!
Thanks, Mia, and everybody is welcome to contribute her or his recipe!
Rob

Here is something from Live And Let Live:

Use asparagus as diuretic. Cucumber is probably the most natural
diuretic known. It is the vegetable equivalent of watermelon.
Try: garlic, dandelion root, kelp, alfalfa, parsley, watermelon,
watermelon seed tea, lemon juice, reduce the intake of salt and
eliminate coffee. Use only sea salt. Additionally, fresh raw foods are
helpful to eliminate excessive fluids from the body. The water in
vegetables is about as pure as you can get.
