One HouseQuake Party this weekend and much, much more coming up in

We will be taking over their sound system, eating yummy food, holding
fun raffles, and getting pumped up for the shows.
CT's owner has let me know that you ARE allowed to bring outside food
into MCI - although they do not publicize this policy. Good fact to
know!

"The Purple Party" Review

Let Dredd know that the DJ didn't hold a candle to him. Since I'm not a
DJ, I can't quite describe what the problem was. All I know is that the
music didn't flow very well. Just when a song started to groove, the DJ
would switch to the next song. His attempts at mixing were horrible.
And the order just didn't flow either. I've noticed over the past four
years that the way Dredd arranges the songs has a certain flow.
The atmosphere was nice but so is ours.

Prince House Party #1

anyone else that wants to go to a party at my group house in Takoma
Park. It
is Saturday the 31st.....this Saturday. I'll be the dj, although I only
have
one turntable. I'll be playing a lot of Prince, Michael Jackson,
Outkast,etc. If it goes like the last parties have, the dining room
turns
into a dance floor and the whole house starts to shake. Okay, not really
but
it gets fun.
I will also raffle off a Prince
ticket. I have one extra for Friday night's show in D.C. It is in
section
116, Row H, Seat 3....not bad at all.
The address is 6845 Eastern Ave in Takoma Park. East/West Highway
is close and so is New Hampshire Ave. We are one block from the
intersection of Eastern and Laurel Avenues, right around the corner from
Pizza Mover's pizza. Torches will be lit in the front yard. 10 pm would
probably be a good time to show up. Hope to see some people there!

Moving from the Democratic Party to the Purple Party, Visions' Bar Noir
is hosting a celebration of Prince's 25-year career tonight, beginning

affiliated with Lovesexy DC, the official party of the region's
10-year-old Prince fan club, which is held at Modern Aug. 8. But can you

Ballots for "2004 MTV Video Music Awards" were sent out to an exclusive

encompassing wide-ranging contemporary music forms rap, dance, R&B and
rock.
Ballots are cast by electronic mail. Duplication is avoided through a
special control number assigned to each ballot, which can only be
tallied

MTV.com will be the ultimate online stop for the latest VMA news and
exclusive content. For the first time ever, the Viewer's Choice winner
will
be decided in the "VMAyhem Viewer's Choice Playoffs." Viewers via
MTV.com
will whittle down forty music videos in head-to-head match-ups until the
final five remain standing. Viewers will then be able to cast votes
amongst
those five final music videos right up until moments before the winner
will
be announced. In addition, MTV2 viewers get to flex their fan power by
determining the winner of the MTV2 Award exclusively at mtv.com. Voting
for
Viewer's Choice and the MTV2 Award will begin on July 27th. Voting for
the
final five nominees for Viewer's Choice will start on August 18th.
