Hi all,
Yesterday 9-1-05 I went to Great Blue Hill, and Wayland Community Gardens. Today I visited Bolton Flats, and there were some good butterflies, and a couple interesting bugs. One immature spider that I saw and photographed on Blue Hill, I didn't even think was as far north as Massachusetts. But I found out that the NORTHERN BLACK WIDOW is as far north as central Maine.
I found a large green caterpillar with snake eyes on sasafrass, so I thought it was a Spicebush cat, but when I looked it up, it was an E Tiger.
