Hi Folks:

This noon I visited the Northampton Community Gardens. About 1 o'clock
I found a Male Sachem nectaring on the Tall Verbena in my garden. I watched
him for about 5 minutes then he disappeared. About 2 o'clock he reappeared
and was there when I left. Also had the following in the gardens:
     Silver-spotted Skipper 2
     Least Skipper 1
     Pecks Skipper 5
     Tawny-edged Skipper 2
     Eastern Black Swallowtail 1
     Monarch 20+
     Great Spangled Fritillary 3
     Eastern tailed Blue 5
     Painted Lady 3

Back home had a male Zabulon Skipper on the Butterfly bush. Sure nice
to see Monarchs this fall.
