Hi Folks:
I thought I had better post this early since we are going to the
football game this evening at UMass. I spent about 1 1/2 hours at the Northampton
Community Gardens this afternoon and saw the female Common Checkered Skipper
in the grassy walk way around my plot and then it flew to one of the Tall
Verbena plants in my garden. Not too much else interesting around the gardens
but, hopefully we can find something good tomorrow.
Anyone who is planning to go on the field trip tomorrow and if they
wish, they can just meet me at the gardens. I will go to the bowling alley for
10:30 just incase someone does not know the way to the gardens.
