Meet the Teams Women's Ride!

Join us for Northwest Women’s Cycling First Annual “Meet the Teams
Womens” ride! From Sept – Oct, a combination of women from many of the
local racing teams will host a Sunday Ride similar to the meet the team
rides with the exception this ride is for women only, and it's hosted by
women representatives of multiple teams. If you are new to the racing
community, looking to strengthen your riding skills or looking to speak
with other women about local racing teams or riding opportunities, this
ride’s for you!
Here are further dates and details:
Dates: Sept 18, Sept 25, Oct 2, Oct 9
Time: 9:00 a.m. at Perts in Leschi. Prepare to be on the road by 9:10am.
Please don’t be late!
Route: South End of Lake Washington
Skills: pacelines, riding a straight line & racing tactics/techniques.
Depending on turnout we'll break into groups no greater than 10 to keep
it manageable and go over the basics making sure to keep things fun vs.
stressful.
Extra Credit: if some gals are up for it we’ll add a Mercer Island loop
but those who
aren't we’ll make sure to get back to Leschi safely.
Bakery stop: Perts either before or after for Scones & Coffee.
